Jenella Dianna Buttry

Jenella Dianna Buttry, 83, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Legacy Village

Hospice in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was born July 24, 1934, in Wood- ward, Okla., to Lionel Jones and Lena Mae Baker Jones.

She married Stanley Buttry July 29, 1950, at Del Norte, Colo. A graduate of Pea Ridge High School, she retired from Farmers and Merchants Bank of Rogers as an auditor. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, reading and loved her dog “Maddie.”

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Buttry; a son, John Mark Buttry; a brother, Bill Jones; and a sister, Juanita Stone.

Survivors are one son, Bill Buttry of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Brenda Walker and husband Doyle of Pea Ridge; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Jones of Monett, Mo.; five grandchild­ren; and five great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Buttram Chapel Cemetery in Pea Ridge with Pastor Al Fowler officiatin­g.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. There was no visitation scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy Pkwy., Bentonvill­e, AR 72712.

Billy Lawrence Hall

Billy Lawrence Hall, 90, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in the VA Retirement Home in Fayettevil­le, Ark.

He was born Aug.

27, 1927, in Mountain, Mo., to Cecil Boyd Hall and Esther Vaughn Hall.

He married Delores F. Wilkerson on April 12, 1952, in Pea Ridge where they lived until September 2016. They moved to the Mt. Carmel Assisted Living in Rogers, Ark.

As a Korean War veteran, he was awarded the Purple Heart and was honorably discharged for his meritoriou­s service from 1950-1952. He was a lifetime member of the Wood-Hall VFW post in Pea Ridge.

From 1955 until 1975, he was a leading custom home builder in northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri. He was also a commercial contractor building several churches including the United Methodist Church of Pea Ridge, as well as the first Radio Shack in the area. When Sam Walton bought the Bank of Pea Ridge, Mr. Walton asked him to build the new bank at its current location in 1968. He loved to work and was very proud of his accomplish­ments; however, he was forced into medical retirement in 1975.

He was a member of the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church and was the builder of the current church in 1974 and the educationa­l building in 1963. Proud of his family, Hall, Laughlin, Schell, Vaughn and Clanton relations, he enjoyed family gatherings talking about old times. His grade school was spent at Antioch and Jacket, Mo. He graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1945 and also an alumni.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his cousin, Bonnie Hall Ester.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Delores Hall; a son, Lester Hall and wife Barbara of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Penny Schwitters of Pea Ridge; a granddaugh­ter, Savannah Swain and husband Erik of Kansas City, Mo.; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, before the service at the church.

Service was 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, in the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.

Burial was in Buttram Chapel Cemetery with full military honors.

Judith Diane Harris

Judith Diane Harris, 75, of Rogers, died April 28, in her home. She was born Aug. 5, 1942, in Leachville, Ark., to Chester Glasscock and Helen Jackson Glasscock.

She enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, reading, collecting and sight seeing on dirt roads.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lonnie, Ernest and Bud Glasscock; and two sisters, Claudie Daniels and Lois Ricks.

Survivors are two daughters, Lori Erwin and husband Jim of Pea Ridge and Shannon Kyzer of Lexington, S.C.; three brothers, Jimmy Glasscock of Buffalo, Mo., Albert Glasscock of Avoca, and David Glasscock of Garfield; four sisters, Lorraine Blagg of Gateway, Bette Cowger of Bentonvill­e, Virginia Truex of Hamilton, Montana, and Geraldine Buttry of Springfiel­d, Mo.; and two grandchild­ren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Buttram Chapel Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

Helen Diane Krueger

Helen Diane Krueger, 66, of Garfield, Ark., died, April 22, 2017, at her home. She was born May 24, 1951, in Cotton Plant, Ark., to Billy Gene Powell and Oma Pauline Sebourn Powell.

She moved to the area in 1978 to make her home and later retired from the Pea Ridge Public Schools where she worked in the cafeteria. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, making jewelry, reading and fishing. She was a member of Gateway Chapel Church in Gateway, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Krueger; a son-in-law, Mark Elsner; a sister, Sharon Reynolds; a granddaugh­ter, Ashley Marguim; and two greatgrand­children, Taylor and Avacyn Ramsey.

Survivors are a son, Patrick Krueger of Garfield; four daughters, Anna Elsner of Denver, Colo., Dolores Laxton (Robert) of Garfield, Audry Krueger of Denver and Becky Ramsey (David) of Decatur, Ark.; a daughterin-law, Naomi Clark of Garfield; a brother, Jessie Powell of Green Forest; three sisters, Jean Davey of Gainsville, Texas, and Darlene Bucklin and Angela Kaler of Lonoke, Ark.; 12 grandchild­ren; and 16 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation was 4-6 p.m. Saturday, April 28, before the service at the chapel.

Service was 6 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge, Ark.

Bill Eugene Yousey

Bill Eugene Yousey, 88, of, Rogers, Ark., died April 22, 2018, in his home. He was born June 9, 1929, in Jacket, Mo., to Joseph Yousey and Mary Gilliland Yousey.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in Korea.

He was a long haul truck driver for 55 years and loved to play the guitar.

He and wife Geneva worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in park maintenanc­e for area campground­s of Beaver Lake for 14 years. He was also a member of the Church of Christ in Pea Ridge, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Janice Montgomery; four brothers, Morris, Joe, Charles and Robert Yousey; and five sisters, Lola Schell, Mildred Patterson, Sue Talburt, Jerietta Bailey and Fran Curtis.

Survivors are his wife, Geneva Yousey of the home; a daughter, Joyce Moore and husband Gary of Midland, Texas; a sonin-law, Dave Montgomery of Rogers; a brother, James Yousey and wife Bernita of Avoca, Ark.; three sisters, Mary Alice Pitts of Pea Ridge, Jeannie Smith of Westville, Okla., and Diane Phelan of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; five grandchild­ren; and six great-grandchild­ren.

Cremation arrangemen­ts were with Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

No service was planned at this time.
