Friday, April 13

10:09 a.m. An employee of Castle Rental and Pawn reported thefts from the store involving jewelry. Police interviewe­d two employees, then determined the case was“unfounded.”

Sunday, April 22

4:45 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lee Town Drive for a found pug. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. The resident said it was found at the corner of Hayden Road and McNair Street.

Monday, April 23

7:49 a.m. The School Resource Officer received a report of terroristi­c threatenin­g between students. The facts were turned over to the Prosecutin­g Attorney, who declined to prosecute.

8 a.m. A 17-year-old female reported she was physically assaulted and battered on Sunday. She also reported to the school counselor who reported the incident to the Arkansas State Child Abuse Hotline. As a result of the investigat­ion, it was determined that the juvenile female was the aggressor and would be charged with third-degree domestic assault.

9:14 a.m. The School Resource Officer received a report that a laptop computer belonging to the school had been stolen. A school employee reported the computer was stolen from her vehicle while she was out of state. She was advised to file a report with the appropriat­e law enforcemen­t agency for the community from where the computer was taken.

1 p.m. A 15-year-old male reported to the School Resource Officer that a 14-year-old male had been sending harassing text communicat­ions. There were no charges filed.

1:12 p.m. Police were dispatched to Walmart Neighborho­od Market for a report of three people shopliftin­g. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Jaxon Kidd Kastner, 18, Rogers, in connection with shopliftin­g and contributi­ng to the delinquenc­y of a minor. A 14-year-old female was with him. She was not charged and was released to her guardian. Kastner was issued a “no trespass”warning.

3:41 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge Primary School for a delayed private property accident report involving someone dents and marks found on a vehicle parked in the parking lot.

4:49 p.m. While on patrol, police observed a man walking along and in the highway. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Johnathan C. Pullen, 31, Centerton, in connection with possession of Sch. I or II and on a felony warrant from parole as being an absconder from parole.

8:04 p.m. Police took a report from a resident of Blair Circle who found a dog and could not locate its owners. The complainan­t transporte­d the dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Tuesday, April 24

2:40 p.m. The School Resource Officer received a report from a 14-year-old male that another student had“purposeful­ly knocked his cell phone out of his hand” and it was damaged. It was later determined the phone was not damaged and no charges would be pursued.

Wednesday, April 25

5:09 p.m. A resident of Brooks Circle reported finding damage to his vehicle that had been parked at several businesses in Pea Ridge during the day. The damage was assessed to be valued at about $1,000.

Thursday, April 26

9:40 a.m. Police observed two vehicles parked at the back of the City Park that began to depart when police approached. As a result of an investigat­ion, police initiated a traffic stop on one of the vehicles. Police cited Austin Argumedo, 19, Pea Ridge, in connection with carrying a weapon for a switchblad­e found in the vehicle.

10:45 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Greene Street for a disturbanc­e involving two roommates fighting. There were no arrests.

3:37 p.m. Police observed a brindle colored female English bulldog walking near Humphrey and Charles streets. A Street Department employee transporte­d the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. On April 27, the dog’s owner, Michael Boggs, 52, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog and was issued a citation in connection with dog at large.

6:40 p.m. Police were asked to assist both county deputies and Rogers Police in reference to a suicidal subject whose phone was“pinging”in the area of East McNelly Road. The suspect was found with a knife and loaded gun. He was turned over to Benton County Sheriff ’s deputies and transporte­d by ambulance to the hospital.

Friday, April 27

1 p.m. Police were dispatched to Sonic for a private property motorvehic­le accident involving a vehicle driven by Johnny Ray Allison, 57, Rocky Comfort, Mo., that was pulling a boat on a trailer. Allison told police he accidental­ly hit the guard pole with the boat trailer. The manager of Sonic requested a report.
