EVENTS Ham Radio Day

The Bella Vista Radio Club will set up special station at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. Radio operators will be on hand all day to answer questions about amateur radio and to give visitors a chance to talk on the radio with operators from around the world.

Fiddle music

Drew Beisswenge­r, musicologi­st and librarian at the University of Arkansas, will explore the history of Ozark fiddle music at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History.

Pottery demonstrat­ion

Teresa Griffith, owner of Griffith Pottery Works will demonstrat­e the art and craft of pottery making during a program at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. The program is part of the museum’s Shiloh Saturday series for families.

MEETINGS AT THE MUSEUM Lace Guild
