Planning commission looks at rezone requests

Three rezoning requests will be considered by the Pea Ridge Planning Commission at their regular monthly meeting slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. Agenda items include:

• Rezone Agricultur­al-1 to Residentia­l-2 Single Family 40.94 acres, Dove and Blue Jay roads, Franklin Miller;

• Rezone Agricultur­al-1 to Residentia­l-2 Multi-Family .33 acres, 309 S. Curtis Ave., Diana Bone; and

• Rezone Commercial-3 to Residentia­l-2 Multi-Family .43 acres, 135 N. Davis St., Diana Bone.

Items listed under Old Business include:

• Large Scale Developmen­t, Weston Street Ball Fields, Pea Ridge Schools;

• Changes to Approved Large Scale Developmen­t, Slack Street, Pat Tobin.

Items listed under New Business include:

• Home Occupation request, 626 Asboth St., by Scott Stewart;

• Home Occupation request, 1700 Winters St., by Anthony Porchia;

• Rezone Agricultur­al-1 to Residentia­l-2 Single Family 40.94 acres, Dove and Blue Jay roads, by Franklin Miller;

• Rezone Agricultur­al-1 to Residentia­l-2 Multi-Family .33 acres, 309 S. Curtis Ave., Diana Bone; and

• Rezone Commercial-3 to Residentia­l-2 Multi-Family .43 acres, 135 N. Davis St., Diana Bone.

The Commission will adjourn and reconvene as the Board of Adjustment­s to consider a variance request for 7.5 feet side yard on street setback, 1001 Shepherd St., by Kelly Tuszynski.

After the Board of Adjustment­s, the Planning Commission will reopen to complete business.
