Mary Ann Miller Hardy
Mary Ann Miller Hardy, 93, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died on Jan. 5, 2019, in Ashley Health and Rehab in Rogers, Ark. She was born in Pea Ridge on Sept. 26, 1925, to Ralph Miller and Frances Mae Webb Miller.
She was married to Charles W. Hardy on July 9, 1942, in Pineville, Mo.
She was a 1943 graduate of Pea Ridge High School. She lived her entire life as a resident of Pea Ridge. She was a wife, a homemaker and a mother. She worked at an early age in her father’s packaged drug store in downtown Pea Ridge, and she later worked for Munsingwear, Phillips Grocery and Emerson Electric. She was a lifelong member of the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church of Pea Ridge. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hardy on June 9, 2005; her parents; and her brother, Charles Huntington Miller.
Survivors are three sons, Gary G. Hardy and his wife Joyce of Lexington, S.C., D. Joe Hardy of Washburn, Mo., and Scott W. Hardy of Pea Ridge; six grandchildren, G. Shawn Hardy and wife Stacy, C. Eric Hardy, Kristopher Hardy and wife Stefanie, Dawn Hardy Mounce and husband Bryan Mounce, Wesley Hardy and Elizabeth Hardy Sturges and husband Kenny; and eight great-grandchildren, Hanna, Chloe, Alyssa, Townsend, Tallulah, Valla, Shepherd and Adrienne.
Visitation was 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, in Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.
Service was for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in Sisco Funeral Home Chapel, Pea Ridge.
Interment was in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church of Pea Ridge, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge, AR 72751.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ashley Health and Rehab and Hospice of north Arkansas for the care, concern and comfort provided to Mary Ann.
