Alton F. Inman

Alton F. Inman, 88, of Little Flock, died Aug. 10, 2019. He was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Highland Park, Mich.

He graduated from Excelsior Springs, Mo., High School with the class of 1949. He was a veteran of the Korean War with four years of service. He attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.

He worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 18 years, during this time he moved to Rogers. In 1971 he and his partners started Northwest Tire Service Inc. which he owned till he retired in 2010.

He loved baseball especially the Kansas City Royals, spent many years raising and racing Appaloosa horses and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Julian and Henrietta Marie (Geis) Inman.

Survivors are his exwife, Barbara Inman and their children, two daughters and one son, Pamela Inman of Oklahoma, Lisa Hixon and her husband Jim of Little Flock and Stuart Inman and his partner, Deena Weidman also of Little Flock; two grandchild­ren, Tamra McGinnis and husband Preston of Fayettevil­le and James Hixon Jr. of Little Flock; seven great-grandchild­ren; two step-grandchild­ren; a sister, Patricia Duncan of Elkhorn, Neb.; three nieces; and one nephew.

Suellen Sullivan

Suellen Sullivan, 77 of Wickes, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, in Ft. Smith. She was born on Nov. 11, 1941, in Rogers to Richard and Hazel Rice Bright.

She was married for 30 years to Harrison Sullivan. She was a member of the Wickes Nazarene Church and dearly loved the people. She loved to sew and work in her yard. One of her passions was to cook and visit friends and families, when they couldn’t get out. Above all she loved her grandchild­ren and greatgrand­children as they were her pride and joy. She was a wonderful and devoted mother, grandmothe­r, great-grandmothe­r, sister and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Hazel Bright; husband, Harrison Sullivan; and a brother, Phillip Bright.

Survivors are daughters, DeLynn and Spanky Hale of Highfill, and SheriLe and Thomas James of Wickes; grandchild­ren, Karilynn and Pete Winters of Farmington, Kristin and Sohn Morris of Pea Ridge and Bo and Mandi James of Wickes; great-grandchild­ren, Gavin and Ean Shadden, Riley Morris, Jayli and Logan James, Cooper, Zac, and Brooke Winters; sister, Elizabeth Bright-See; nephew, Christophe­r See; niece, Melissa Gardner; extended family — the families of Bridgett Martin, Harley Sullivan, Jess Sullivan, Marion Sullivan, Yvonne Kohn and Bill Sullivan; special friends, Sarah Gorden and Delwin Reed; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, in Wickes Church of the Nazarene in Wickes with Jon Newlin officiatin­g.

Interment was in the Baker Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.

Pallbearer­s were Cody Speight, Joe Miller, John Cody Sullivan, Eric Sullivan, Seth Watkins, Cody Wilson, Jason Sullivan and Montana Speight.

Honorary pallbearer­s were Loren Jenkins, Elijah Sullivan, Pete Winters, Ty Sullivan, Sohn Morris, Zac Counts and Ben Counts.
