1 p.m. A resident on North Curtis Avenue reported a gun — a 9 mm Taurus PT 709 — had been stolen from his residence. Pea Ridge Police received a call from Springdale Police on Oct. 23 of a gun recovered during a traffic stop on Oct. 1, which matched the description of the one reported stolen. The driver of the vehicle told police he received the gun from a female to whom he had given a ride. As of Nov. 7, Pea Ridge Police had not received further information from Springdale.
Thursday, Oct. 31
2:17 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Clifford Bradley Schroeder, 64, Washburn, Mo., in connection with DWI (second offense); driver’s license suspended; drove left of center; no seat belt; interlock device restriction violation.
Tuesday, Nov. 5
3:36 p.m. Middle School officials reported suspicious circumstances on school property. The youth were found at a residence on Clark Street. The property owner said she did not want them on her property. Deonandre Solix, 19, of Bella Vista, and a 15-year-old male, were issued a criminal trespass warning. They left the scene on foot.
Saturday, Nov. 9
4:14 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jake Landry Bryant, 46, Rogers, in connection with possession of meth or cocaine; two counts possession of drug paraphernalia; fictitious tags; operation of vehicle without license plates; and no proof of insurance
Sunday, Nov. 10
1:23 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Douglas Circle to assist Benton County Sheriff ’s Office deputies with a medial call. Police were notified there was a male subject with a weapon and one deputy on call. Little Flock Police arrived on the scene, too, and police were told the subject with the weapon had fled on foot and run into a neighbor’s residence. As a result of the investigation, police apprehended Claudie Jackson Helmick, 48, Rogers, who was transported by ambulance.
3:37 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lynn Drive for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Alexander N. Lawhon, 26, Pea Ridge, in connection with third-degree assault on a family or household member.
5:17 a.m. Police were advised of a disturbance at a residence on Humphrey Street. One officer was unavailable as he was transporting someone from another disturbance that occurred on Cardin Road, according to the report. Two Little Flock Police officers responded to the disturbance on Humphrey Street and had two suspects in custody. As a result of the investigation into the disturbance at the residence on Humphrey Street, police arrested Tarrence K. Durgan, 18, Pea Ridge, and Jon Durgan, 38, Pea Ridge, in connection with third degree domestic battering. The charge to Jon Durgan was upgraded to a Class D felony, according to the report, as this was his third domestic battering charge within the last five years.
