Ira David Canoy

Ira David Canoy, 88, of Bentonvill­e, died June 25, 2020, in Bradford Nursing and Rehab. He was born Feb. 13, 1932, in Hartford, Ark., to Green Lee Canoy and Lovancia Bell Brown Canoy.

He was an Army veteran and worked as a TV technician. He enjoyed organic gardening, reading, playing cards and dominoes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruby Canoy; stepdaught­er, Carolyn Cowan; a brother, Voyd Lee Canoy; and two sisters, Lela Mae Hamilton and Myrtle Lee Hile.

Survivors are a granddaugh­ter, Jean Jordan and husband Ronnie of Springdale; eight great-grandchild­ren; and 10 great-greatgrand­children.

There is no visitation scheduled.

A graveside service held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 29, in Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.

Opal Maxine Cotton

Opal Maxine “Maxine” Cotton, 81, of Rogers died on June 28, 2020. She was born Jan. 15, 1939, in Phillipsbu­rg, Mo., to Herman DeWitt Pendley and Ruth Elizabeth Arnold Pendley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Charlie Cotton; sisters, Martha Pressley and Darlene Root; and brothers, Bill and Bobby Pendley.

Mrs. Cotton devoted her life to caring for her family and enjoyed her church, the House of God in Rogers, where she was a longtime member.

Survivors include son Billy Cotton of Rogers; sister, Joyce Arnold of Rogers; brothers, Don Pendley (Diane) of California, Clyde Pendley and Ronnie Pendley (Allene), both of Rogers; grandson, Charlie Cotton (Leslie) of Rogers; great-granddaugh­ter, Jenna Cotton; caregiving niece Rhonda Cowan of Pea Ridge; and numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020, the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers.

Funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Interment will follow in Rogers Cemetery.

Reese Loren Naylor

Reese Loren Naylor, 83, of Garfield, Ark., died June 25, 2020, in his home. He was born March 22, 1937, in Eaton Rapids, Mich., to Frank Naylor and Ruth Gunnell Naylor.

He has been a Garfield resident for 26 years. He was a semi truck mechanic by trade and also loved small engine repair, restoring old tractors and woodworkin­g.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his life partner, Anne Louise Wamsley of the home; two children, Ron Naylor and wife Jennifer of Springport, Mich., and Cindy Hasenick and husband Dennis of Albion, Mich.; two siblings, Keith Naylor of Eaton Rapids and Carol La Motte of Grayling, Mich.; five grandchild­ren, Nikkole Wright, Vella and Cody Naylor and Marc and Andrew Hasenick; and great-grandchild­ren, Anson, Hayden, Carson and Blaine Hasenick.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
