Jerry Wayne Vannoy, 70, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, July 3, 2020, in his home. He was born Feb. 25, 1950, to Junior and Norma Pearl Savoy Vannoy in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He lived in the Pea Ridge area for 13 years and was a disabled U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He was a man who was far from perfect but a man who worked hard and loved his country and his family deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sisters, Sara Simacek and Deletha Baker

Survivors are his son Jared Vannoy, daughter in-law Angela and granddaugh­ter Nicole of Lowell; son, Michael Vannoy, daughter in-law Jennifer and granddaugh­ters Bailey and Addy-B, grandsons Trevor and Carson of Tennessee; daughter, Lisa Johnston and son in-law Chuck, and grandsons Wesley and Austin of Bella Vista; his first and only love and mother of his three children, Nadine Rockett of Bella Vista; two brothers, Larry Vannoy of Springdale, and Gary Vannoy of Texas; two sisters, Joy Mackay and Deborah Deel, both of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a private celebratio­n at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, a local non profit dedicated to re-engage veterans in living an active, meaningful and productive life with a renewed sense of purpose. Donations can be made online at www.sheep dogia.org.
