Mabel Louise McKinney
Mabel Louise McKinney, 96, of Pea Ridge, died Sept. 6, 2020, in Innisfree Nursing and Rehab in Rogers. She was born Sept. 17, 1923, in Pea Ridge to Hugh H. Webb and Nell I. Chiles Webb.
She graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1941. She married Fred McKinney April 8, 1944. She was co-owner of Webb’s Feed Store in Pea Ridge with Fred until his death in 2015. She was a member of the Eastern Star and served as treasurer on the first scholarship committee for Pea Ridge High School. She loved cooking for the family and extended family on Sundays in her home. She was a member of Mt Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge where she served as treasurer for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred McKinney; and two siblings, Eula Mae Walker and Hugh Webb Jr.
Survivors are four children, Doug McKinney, Jane Cooley and husband Doug, Peggy David and husband Ronnie and Andrea Ricketts and husband, Harvey all of Pea Ridge; sisters-inlaw, Dott Webb and Beulah Prophet, both of Pea Ridge, and Zadie Nelson of Pryor, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
No visitation is scheduled.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to take their own chairs to the cemetery.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
