Malcolm Scott, 75, of Pea Ridge died Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Bulawayo, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), to George and Helen Harriett Scott.

He was a veteran of the Rhodesian Army.

He attended Harding University from 1974-1980, graduating with degrees in business administra­tion and Bible. He ministered at Bluff Springs church of Christ 1980-1984 (Hopkinsvil­le,

Ken.), Lincoln church of Christ 1984-1991,

Tuttle church of Christ 1992-1993, and Pea Ridge church of Christ 1993-2020.

He was employed with Beall-Ladymon in Fayettevil­le, Ark., from 1984-1987 and Walmart Distributi­on Center No. 6094 until his retirement in 2017.

He committed his life to the service of his Lord without question. His impact has been felt locally, in many parts of the country and abroad. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father who will be missed terribly. His example will continue to provide guidance to those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tony; and sister Helen.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Scott, whom he married March 29, 1969; two children, Charmaine Scott (Haleigh Bolton) of Austin, Texas, and Brandon Scott of Springdale, Ark.; daughterin-law, Karla; his elder sister Brenda and twin sister Moira, both of South Africa; and three grandchild­ren Carson, Alyssa and Tyler.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the memorial service will be private.

A public memorial service will be held at a later date when gathering is safe.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Burial will be in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.
