Colors Day maids named for 2021

Blackhawk Colors Day 2021 will be held Jan. 15. The coronation ceremony will begin at 5:45 in the new Pea Ridge High School gym.

Maids are Jordyn Allison, Karenna Foster, Josey Goldberg, Gracelyn Hissong, Samantha Huffman, Sierra Huffman, Tiffany Hyman and Addisyn Rhine.

One young lady will be crowned queen.

Jordyn Allison, 17, is daughter of Stephanie and Billy Allison. She has lived in Pea Ridge 13 years. She will be escorted by Michael Ericson. Miss Allison enjoys shopping, camping and raising bottle calves. She is a member of the Lady Blackhawks basketball team, the FFA and the National Honor Society. Her favorite song is “Better Together” by Luke Combs. She plans to attend college to study elementary education.

Karenna Foster, 17, is the daughter of Cecile Peters and Bill Foster. She has been in Pea Ridge schools since kindergart­en. She will be escorted by Mac Bowen. Miss Foster enjoys painting, watching “The Grinch” and participat­ing in FCCLA and the National Honor Society. She is a manager for the Lady Blackhawks basketball team. Her favorite television show is “Gossip Girl.” She plans to continue her education at NWACC and major in education.

Josey Goldberg, 17, is the daughter of Sean and Tammy Goldberg. She has been in Pea Ridge schools for eight years. She will be escorted by David Andrus. She enjoys spending time with her sisters and going to 7Brew to get Redbulls. She is a member of the Lady Blackhawks volleyball team and the National Honor Society. Her favorite song is “Forever After All” by Luke Combs and her favorite television show is “One Tree Hill.” She plans to attend Missouri Southern State University, play volleyball and major in engineerin­g.

Gracelyn Hissong, 17, is the daughter of Terry and Layle Hissong. A native of Pea Ridge, she is the granddaugh­ter of Lois and Lloyd Richardson. She will be escorted by Jake Ingram. She enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends and family. She is a member of the Lady Blackhawks volleyball team. Her favorite television show is “All American.” She plans to attend college to become a teacher and a coach.

Samantha Huffman, 17, a native of Pea Ridge, is the daughter of Jessica Mahanke. She will be escorted by Cooper Tillman. She enjoys photograph­y. She is the basketball media specialist. She plans to attend real estate school.

Sierra Huffman, 17, a native of Pea Ridge, is the daughter of Jessica Mahanke. She will be escorted by Samual Tillman. She enjoys online shopping, watching crime shows and Hallmark and going to 7Brew. She is on the Lady Blackhawks softball team and the FCCLA. Her favorite show is “The Grinch” and her favorite book is “Live” by Sadie Robertson. She plans to attend NWACC for two years to earn a business degree and then go into real estate.

Tiffany Hyman, 17, is the daughter of Christina Kasper and Ronnie Hyman. A native of Fayettevil­le, she has been in Pea Ridge nine years. She will escorted by Malik Bagsby. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching Netflix. She is a member of the Lady Blackhawks volleyball team and the National Honor Society. Her favorite television show is “Grey’s Anatomy.” She plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in psychology.

Addisyn Rhine, 17, is the daughter of John and Katie Rhine. A native of Pea Ridge, she is the granddaugh­ter of Johnnie and Linda Rhine of Wyandotte, Okla., and Larry and Liz Carnes of Quapaw, Okla. She will be escorted by Greydon Edwards. She enjoys shopping, hanging with friends and watching Hallmark movies with her mother. She is a member of the Blackhawk cheerleadi­ng team. Her favorite movie is “Clueless.” She plans to attend college.
