THE ACADEMY BALL

Perhaps the winter’s most anticipated affair, the Academy of Music hosted the 160th Anniversary Concert and Ball on January 28. The evening began with a pre-concert reception followed by a performance featuring The Philadelphia Orchestra, Conductor Yannick Nézet-séguin, and very special guest Martin Short. Senator Robert Casey, Governor Tom Wolf, and Senator Anthony Williams were among the long list of local notables in attendance. The night concluded at the Hyatt at the Bellevue with dinner and dancing until the late hours.
