In its sixth and latest in a series of collaborations with noted photographers (others have included Annie Leibovitz and Mario Testino), The Macall a n has released a limited-edition Scotch whisky set inspired by the visual craft of Steven Klein. Aligned with the mysterious extra element of “time,” so vital to the arts of both photography and distilling, this exclusive gift set puts a special blend by The Macallan’s master maker Bob Dalgarno center stage, featuring more heavily peated whiskies, as well as the distiller’s fi rst use of whisky aged in Rioja wine barrels. A luxuriant smokiness, as well as a subtle sweetness and a red mahogany hue, highlight the pour, making it— like Klein’s photography— a multisensory treat.
