Stephen E. Zitney of the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) was named as a Fellow by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Mr. Zitney is a chemical engineer in the NETL Computatio­nal Science and Engineerin­g Division where for 11 years he has led research and developmen­t projects focused on the safe, clean, and efficient design and operation of the nation's fossil energy systems.
