All the party details: The weather felt more like November than April last Wednesday, but that didn’t stop the festivitie­s to celebrate Earth Day, which kicked off with a pre-party at Downtown’s Hotel Monaco. Guests mingled with Chris Jamison of Ross, NBC’s season 7 finalist from the “The Voice.” “I love being here in my hometown. It is just an honor to be asked to be a part of such an awesome event.” He said he still gets nervous before singing, and is excited to release his first single this summer. He put on a great show with his band despite in Mellon Square Park after the pre-party. “The way this city rallied behind me was overwhelmi­ng. I really appreciate all the support.”

#StrikeAPos­e: After the performanc­e, guests made their way to the Fairmont Hotel for a fashion show created by Eons’ Richard Parsakian. Twelve models, dressed by local artists and designers inspired by the four seasons, strutted their stuff down the steps of the Fairmont Hotel (complete with hair and makeup from Izzazu Salon), and were judged by Eric Shiner, director of The Andy Warhol Museum; your very own SEEN editor; Raymond Ryan of the Carnegie Museum of Art; and John Carson of Carnegie Mellon University. The winners were Vanessa German, Terry Boyd, Rich Preffer and Kari Kramer. “This is amazing. I am so glad I am a part of this city and everything happening here,” said Mr. Boyd. Each winner received a $250 gift certificat­e to Larrimor’s.
