The borough’s new website has won first place in the yearly contest sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs.
Judging is based on content, clarity and effectiveness, but the contest also provides boroughs with a chance to display how they communicate with their communities. Entrants are separated by population.
This year, in the 50017,500 population category, Carnegie received first place for its site, which spotlights local landmarks, information on upcoming events and other facts for residents.
Carnegie redesigned its website with the help of resident Deneen Underwood.
