Jean-Sebastien Dea and Dominik Simon and goaltender Tristan Jarry will join Sundqvist among notable Penguins prospects making the trip.

The tournament will feature games against three other NHL teams’ top prospects: Sept. 16 against the Montreal Canadiens, Sept. 17 against the Ottawa Senators and Sept. 18 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Center Thomas Di Pauli, who signed with the Penguins Aug. 19, also will participate, in addition to defensemen Lukas Bengtsson and Ethan Prow, who signed in the spring.

Three Penguins entering their first full pro seasons also will play — forwards Jake Guentzel and Teddy Blueger and goaltender Sean Maguire.

Sundqvist is coming off his first full season in North America, where he appeared in two Penguins playoff wins and 18 regular-season games, scoring his first NHL goal short-handed April 2 against the New York Islanders.

Archibald and Simon also made their NHL debuts in 2015-16. Simon led Wilkes Barre/Scranton with 25 goals as a rookie.

Dea is entering his third pro season and reached the 20-goal mark for the first time.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s Clark Donatelli will handle coaching duties.

He will be joined by his two new assistant coaches, Chris Taylor and J.D. Forrest.

The Penguins development staff of Mark Recchi, Sergei Gonchar and Mike Buckley also will provide instruction.
