SATURDAY and NEXT SUNDAY

Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks presents “Comedy of Errors” directed by Charles Beikert at Frick Park, Beechwood Boulevard and Nicholson Street, Squirrel Hill, at 2 p.m. Saturday. The show features Marc Epstein as Antipholus of Syracuse and PSIP artistic director and founder Jennifer Tober as the melodramatic Adriana.

“Comedy of Errors” has a cast of nine (four women and five men) who play multiple characters, quick-changing at breakneck speed and donning oversized costume pieces and accoutrements as they perform at a frenetic pace. The story of two sets of twins separated at birth goes all awry when the long-lost siblings find themselves in the same place at the same time. Chaos ensues, tempers flare, confusion reigns, but all is righted in the end.

Other show dates are next Sunday at Pymatuning State Park, Shelter 3, Jamestown, Pa., at 2 p.m.; Sept. 10-11, Highland Park, Reservoir Drive (across from the Super Playground), at 2 p.m.; Sept. 17-18, Arsenal Park, 40th and Butler streets, Lawrenceville, at 2 p.m.; and Sept. 24-25, Frick Park, Beechwood Boulevard and Nicholson Street, Squirrel Hill, at 2 p.m. Free.
