Angels 10, Astros 4: Kole Calhoun had three hits as visiting Los Angeles scored nine runs in the final two innings to defeat Houston.

Twins 3, Mariners 2: Miguel Sano hit a homer and Tyler Duffey (9-11) pitched seven strong innings for his best start in more than a month as host Minnesota beat Seattle.

White Sox 8, Indians 1: Melky Cabrera and Jose Abreu hit RBI singles in the first and Todd Frazier connected for his 39th homer in the sixth as Chicago won in Cleveland.

Blue Jays 3, Yankees 0: Jose Bautista hit a three-run homer off Tyler Clippard in the eighth as Toronto beat visiting New York. The Yankees have lost 10 of 13 after a sevengame winning streak.

Royals 7, Tigers 4: Paulo Orlando hit a tying, two-run double and Eric Hosmer followed with a three-run homer in the ninth to lead visiting Kansas City past Detroit.
