Another new office building in store for North Shore?

Facing a December deadline to get the next project going in the redevelopment of Pittsburgh’s North Shore, a Columbus, Ohio, developer is considering a major new office building along the Allegheny riverfront.

Continental Real Estate Companies is in negotiations with at least one company — SAP, the German software firm — and perhaps others about occupying the new building, according to multiple sources.

The office complex would be built on the last parcel available on the riverfront between the former Equitable Resources building and the former Del Monte building, both Continental developments.
