FNB to expand at North Shore headquarters

FNB Corp. will add an operations and customer service center that will add nearly 100 new jobs as part of its plans to expand at its North Shore corporate headquarters. The new center is scheduled to open later this year in the D.L. Clark Building at 503 Martindale St., in space formerly occupied by Dominion Resources. The new jobs will bring the company's total number of North Shore and Downtown employees to more than 400. FNB also will add support positions in its technology and operations center in Hermitage. The company also plans to house more than 200 key support employees in North Carolina as part of its planned merger with Yadkin Financial Corp. early next year.
