Williams wins No. 800

Hall of Fame coach Roy Williams earned his 800th career victory when Isaiah Hicks scored 20 points to lead No. 9 North Carolina (17-3, 5-1 ACC) to an 85-68 victory against visiting Syracuse (11-8, 3-3). Kennedy Meeks added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Tar Heels. The win made Williams just the ninth Division I coach to reach 800 wins.

Penn State 76, Wisconsin 46: Lindsey Spann scored 17 points as host Penn State (12-6, 2-4 Big Ten) defeated Wisconsin (513, 0-5).
