Wizards slip by Raptors

Bogdanovic comes up big off bench

Bojan Bogdanovic had 27 points off the bench and Bradley Beal added 23 as the visiting Washington Wizards snapped an eight-game losing streak against the Toronto Raptors with a 105-96 win.

John Wall had 12 points and 13 assists for his 39th double-double of the season as the third-place Wizards took the first of a home-andhome series against Toronto, moving a game up on fourthplac­e Toronto.

DeMar DeRozan had 24 points and Serge Ibaka added 22 more for the Raptors, who were again without Kyle Lowry, following the guard’s wrist surgery that will keep him out the remainder of the regular season.

A late run in the last minute brought the Raptors within nine points with 23.2 seconds to play, but the contest was over by then.

86: Anthony Davis had 33 points as host New Orleans snapped a three-game skid with a victory against Detroit.

Knicks 101, Magic 90: Kristaps Porzingis had 20 points and nine rebounds to help visiting New York cruise to a victory against Orlando.

Hawks 100, Mavericks 95: Paul Millsap scored on a drive with 30.5 seconds remaining and Atlanta held off visiting Dallas’ rally.

Heat 125, 76ers 98: Tyler Johnson scored 24 points and host Miami never trailed in the win against Philadelph­ia. Center Joel Embiid will miss the remainder of the season with a left knee injury.

Nuggets 110, Bucks 98: Nikola Jokic had his second triple-double in two nights to lead Denver to a win in Milwaukee.

Boston 103, Cavaliers 99: Isaiah Thomas scored 31 points to lead Boston to a win against visiting Cleveland.

Timberwolv­es 107, Jazz 80: Karl-Anthony Towns scored 21 points and had 15 rebounds to lead Minnesota to a win in Utah.

Spurs 100, Pacers 99: Kawhi Leonard's 31 points, and last-second jumper, helped lead San Antonio to the win against visiting Indiana.

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant will miss at least four weeks after Golden State diagnosed him with a sprained MCL and a bone bruise on his left leg. “At this time it's just speculatio­n to guess when that is,” general manager Bob Myers said.
