Indians get revenge on Black Hawks in 43-29 win

The Indians (22-3) got their revenge Friday when they beat the Black Hawks (19-8), 4329, handing them a first-round exit in the PIAA playoffs at North Allegheny.
Senior Desiree Oliver was a big reason for the turnaround, finishing with 25 points, nine rebounds, six steals and eight assists.
Mt. Lebanon 62, State College 44: The Blue Devils (196) used a 10-3 run to start the second half to open up the game in their win against the Little Lions (10-15) at Bald Eagle Area. Senior Kate Sramac led the Blue Devils with 21 points.
Blackhawk 53, Freeport 32: For the second time this playoffs, the Cougars (17-9) defeated the Yellow Jackets (14-11), this time at Fox Chapel. Blackhawk was on fire from beyond the arc, connecting on 11 3-pointers, led by senior Madison Amalia with four.
Punxsutawney 46, Central Valley 40: points. Julia Casella and Sydney Palermo led the Victors (19-5) with 13 points apiece.
Forest Hills 63, Beaver 25: Junior Bella Posset missed the game with a shoulder injury, limiting the Bobcats (177) in their loss to the Rangers (24-1) at Richland. round for the sixth consecutive year with a win against the Devils (20-5) at Bishop Guilfoyle. Alana Winkler led the Royals with 16 points.
Our Lady of Sacred Heart 42, Reynolds 29: a 2,000-point scorer for the Spartans (17-8), was held to 16 points.
Leechburg 55, Coudersport 51: The Blue Devils (15-10) grabbed a win against District 9 champion Coudersport (23-2) at Kane. It was Leechburg’s first PIAA playoff win. Mikayla Lovelace led the way with 26 points.
Bishop McCort 60, California 17: Fresh off their District 6 championship, the Crushers (22-4) routed the Trojans (205) at Johnstown. Jenna Miller and Bailey Vig were the high scorers for California with six points apiece.
West Middlesex 43, Washington 32: District 10 champion West Middlesex (21-5) pulled away late to avoid an upset against the Little Prexies (13-12) at Farrell.
