Sabika kicks off ‘discover tour’

The Robinson-based direct sales jewelry company Sabika is hitting the road this summer to spread the word of its blossoming business and dazzling baubles.

The Discover Sabika tour kicks off at home Saturday at DoubleTree Pittsburgh Airport in Moon.

Shopping periods are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. It continues Sunday (10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.) and Monday (10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.).

Guests will get the chance to shop rare Sabika pieces, including retired designs at discounted prices.

There also will be giveaways, live mix-and-match styling presentations, a chance to learn about entrepreneurial opportunities with Sabika and more.

The tour then heads to Detroit (June 29), followed by Akron (July 1), Jacksonville, Fla. (Aug. 4), Wytheville, Va. (Aug. 6-7) and Philadelphia (Sept. 10). It will conclude in Pittsburgh at the DoubleTree Monroeville Convention Center Sept. 1718.

Sabika, which specializes in artisan-crafted Swarovski crystal jewelry, was founded in 2001 by CEO Karin Mayr. Since then, it’s swelled to hundreds of consultants in 40-plus states with millions in sales.

“Sabika’s national brand profile is expanding and we couldn’t be more pleased to meet with our customers and consultants face to face in their backyards,” Ms. Mayr’s daughter Alexandra Mayr-Gracik, who designs the collections, said in a statement.
