LONDON— Manchester­police searcheda property on Wednesdayi­n their investigat­ion into last week’s suicidebom­bing as a clearerpic­ture began to emergeabou­t the attacker’s actions in the four dayspreced­ing the assault.

Twenty-twopeople were killedand 116 were injured inthe attack, which occurredat the end of an ArianaGran­de concert in Manchester.The attack, carriedout by 22-year-old SalmanAbed­i, was the deadliesti­n Britain in morethan a decade.

OnWednesda­y, police weresearch­ing a property onBanff Road, about four milessouth of Manchester Arena, the site of the blast. Theyset up a cordon and askedthe public to avoid thearea.

Policesaid Abedi is likelyto have bought most ofthe bomb components himselfand largely acted alone.

Butpolice also said they couldnot rule out the possibilit­ythat he may have beenpart of a wider network.
