Aug. 20-27 Big-name entertainm­ent features Straight No Chaser (Aug. 19) and Rachel Platten with A Great Big World (Aug. 23). BIG KNOB GRANGE FAIR

Aug. 29-Sept. 2 The 75th annual Big Knob Grange Fair opens with a parade (Aug. 29) featuring the Freedom Area High School Marching Band. The evening will conclude with fireworks at dusk. New this year is the Princess and Scarecrow Parade for boys and girls 2 to 8 (Sept. 2).

Events include Mini Mods and ATV Racing (Aug. 29), “Big Knob Has Talent” (Aug. 29), Horse Show (Aug. 30-31, Sept. 1), Small Car Demo Derby (Sept. 1), Large Car Demo Derby (Sept. 3). Musical acts include New Silver Eagle Band (Aug. 30), Dream Machine (Aug. 31), Yankee Gray (Sept. 1), Freddie the Music Man, Western Pa. Button Box Club, and Crows Run Band (Sept. 2).

Admission: Free, but fees for events at the track are $7 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under. Rides are $15 total every evening.
