Steelers star to ad star

-

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown will join Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott and Atlanta Falcons’ linebacker Vic Beasley in an ad campaign for DIRECTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket programming package.

Mr. Brown famously competed on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and appeared on HBO’s “Ballers” and in an episode of the Amazon children’s show “Bookaboo.”

Also of local note on the DIRECTV front, over-the-top streaming service, DIRECTV Now, has added WTAE and WPXI live streams for subscribers.

By late August, DIRECTV Now executives say they intend to triple the number of local live channels compared to when the service launched in November 2016.

DIRECTV Now offers between 60 and 120 channels, depending on the package a subscriber chooses. Packages range from $35 to $70 per month. For details visit directvnow.com.
