Quantum Theatre's “Red Hills,” a world premiere collaboration with En Garde Arts of New York, opens Friday at The Recycling Building at 32nd and Smallman streets, Strip District. In this Sean Christopher Lewis play, two men reunite 20 years after the Rwandan genocide that they witnessed firsthand as teenagers. The free Monroeville Jazz Festival features singer Etta Cox and singer-songwriter Tony DeSare performing on a $124,000 Yamaha grand piano at the Tall Trees Amphitheater in Monroeville Community Park, Tillbrook Road.
