Exotic dancer to pay fine in plea agreement
An exotic dancer charged with promoting prostitution and other offenses after being arrested by undercover police officers at a Downtown strip club pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to a single summary count of disorderly conduct.
That count was added after the prosecution agreed to withdraw the original charges against Austacia McConville during a preliminary hearing in City Court, Downtown, before District Judge James Motznik.
In addition to the felony prostitution count, those charges included resisting arrest and conspiracy. As part of the plea deal, Ms. McConville was ordered to pay a $100 fine.
Ms.McConville, 27, of MountWashington, was arrestedin July along with AshleyUgoletti, 27, of Monongahela. Both were dancersat Blush Gentlemen’s Club. They were accused of arrangingto have sex with twoundercover police officersin exchange for $2,400.
Ms. Ugoletti was stabbed to death Aug. 30 in Mount Pleasant, police said.
