Man turns self in on bad-checks charges

Theformer owner of Latitude360, a now-closed entertainment complex in Robinson,turned himself in toauthorities on Monday.

Brent Brown, 48, of Jacksonville, Fla., is charged with 33 badchecks offenses and one count of theft of services after investigators said he issued paychecks to employees that he knew would bounce.

Mr. Brown’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 25.
