Mr. Rosenthal focuses on affordable housing, public finance, real estate and corporate matters, and represents multiple housing authorities across the country. Mr. Stone’s practice is centered on real estate, low-income housing and complex development financing.

McAuley Ministries, Pittsburgh Mercy’s grantmaking foundation, announced five new appointments to its board of directors: Tia L. Baker, chief executive officer, Crown Cut Concierge, and chief operating officer, Cupcakes Most Wanted; Sister Bonnie Heh, a Sister of Mercy and finance director at The Intersection, a McKeesport-based drop-in center; Sister Rita Harasiuk, a Sister of Mercy and a former elementary education teacher in the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Diocese of Greensburg; Sister Kathleen McGrady, a Sister of Charity and director of Seton Arts Service Program, an outreach program of the Sisters of Charity of SetonHill; and Sean D. Thomas, a student success coach at the Community College of Allegheny County. Each will serve a three-year term.

Awards and Honors
The National Institute on Aging, one of the 27 institutes and centers of the National Institutes of Health, hasawarded Bryan Brown, assistant professor of bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering, a five-year, $1.57 million grant to examine how aging affects implantable medical devices.
John Henne, president and owner of Henne Jewelers, was inducted into the 2017 Retailer Hall of Fame in the single-store independent category. The designation was voted on by his peers nationwide and given by National Jeweler magazine.
