Stu­dioFun In­ter­na­tional of NewYork is re­call­ing about 79,000“slap bracelets” that were­in­cluded with “DreamWork­sTrolls: It's Hug Time!”chil­dren's sto­ry­books. There­have been five re­ports ofthe metal bands wear­ing throughthe fab­ric cov­er­ing of the­bracelet re­sult­ing in cuts to­hands or fin­gers.

The sto­ry­books with bracelets were sold at book and other re­tail stores na­tion­wide, book fairs and clubs, and on­line at Ama­, Bar­ne­sand­no­, Wal­ and other on­line re­tail­ers from Septem­ber 2016 through Au­gust 2017 for about $13.

The bracelet con­sists of an in­ner, flex­i­ble metal band wrapped in a pur­ple fab­ric cov­er­ing with a pink fab­ric flower. The ISBN for the book is 978-0-7944-3840-1 and is printed on the back of the book.

Moon­ray stake lights

South­wire Com­pany LLC, of Car­roll­ton, Ga., and South­wire Canada Com­pany of Mis­sis­sauga, On­tario, Canada, is re­call­ing about 8,700 Moon­rays brand large mys­tic globe and win­ter-themed snow globe stake lights.

The lawn and gar­den dec­o­ra­tions are plas­tic globes mounted on a metal stake that can be in­serted into the ground. Wa­ter and an­tifreeze al­lows glit­ter in­side the globe to float. The win­ter-themed light stake is framed by a snow­man, Christ­mas Tree, Santa Claus or rein­deer. The so­lar pow­ered lights also con­tain LED bulbs that run on AA NI-cd or AA-NI-Mh recharge­able bat­ter­ies.

South­wire has re­ceived nine re­ports of in­ci­dents in­clud­ing heat-re­lated dam­age to nearby prop­erty such as grass, deck posts and house sid­ing. No in­juries have been re­ported.

Th­ese were sold at Moon­rays and home im­prove­ment and hard­ware stores na­tion­wide and on­line from Au­gust 2016 through March 2017 for about $20.
