Charleroi 37, Burgettsto­wn 14: The Cougars (7-1, 4-1) scored more points against the previously unbeaten Blue Devils (6-1, 5-1) than the total yielded by Burgettsto­wn in its previous six games. Charleroi has won its most games in a season since going 9-2 in 1998. Charleroi’s Geno Pellegini passed for 369 yards and five touchdowns. Dakota Romantino caught seven passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns in this Century Conference contest. Charleroi is playoff bound for the first time since 2004.

Washington 54, ChartiersH­ouston 14: The No. 2 Little Prexies (7-0, 6-0) claimed an easy home win over the Bucaneers (0-8, 0-6) in the Century Conference. Nick Welsh scored three touchdowns and Dan Walker tallied twice for Washington. Zack Swartz completed 7 of 9 pass attempts for three touchdowns and 143 yards.

New Brighton 41, South Allegheny 24: Ashton Fath rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns in leading the Lions (2-6) to a non-conference home win over the Gladiators (1-6). Jacob Francona caught four passes for 85 yards, rushed for 45 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Lions.

Mohawk 20, Freedom 14: Braydon Cameron led Mohawk (5-2, 4-2) to a home win over Freedom (5-2, 3-2) in a key Midwestern Conference contest. Cameron scored on runs of 2, 3 and 19 yards and finished with 250 yards rushing on 47 carries.

Our Lady Sacred Heart 34, Union 15: The Chargers (6-2, 5-1) spotted Union (6-2, 4-2) an early lead in a Big Seven Conference game. However, OLSH responded with four consecutiv­e touchdowns to comfortabl­y win. Jack Graff scored on runs of 24 and 8 yards for the Chargers. The Chargers led, 244-130, in total yards and held a 12-10 advantage in first downs.

West Greene 48, Monessen 16 : Ben Jackson rushed for 182 yards and scored on a 59-yard run to lead the Pioneers (6-2, 4-2) over the visiting Greyhounds (2-6, 1-4) in the Tri-County Conference. Conor Main scored twice, once on a pass reception and another on a 45-yard intercepti­on return.

Carmichael­s 41, JeffersonM­organ 7: Nick Mundel’s three touchdown runs paced the Mikes (5-2, 5-1) to a home win over the Rockets (3-5, 2-3) in the Tri-County Conference.

Shenango 47, Cornell 16: Maxwell Reamer completed 5 of 8 pass attempts for 157 yards and two touchdowns as the Wildcats (3-4, 3-3) scored in every quarter against the visiting Raiders (0-7, 0-6) in the Big Seven Conference. Josh Young scored five touchdowns for Shenango.

Serra 42, Carlynton 6: The Eagles (5-3, 3-1) soared in a Three Rivers Conference home game against the Cougars (06, 0-5). Khalil Smith scored on a pair of 15-yard runs for Serra. The Eagles outgained Carlynton, 279-100, in total offense and had an 18-6 edge in first downs.

Jeannette 55, Greensburg Central Catholic 7: The topranked Jayhawks (8-0, 6-0) throttled the rival Centurions (3-5, 2-3) in an Eastern Conference game at Jeannette. Seth Howard was the only Jeannette player to score more than one touchdown. Howard scored on runs of 34 and 4 yards. Howard also completed a touchdown pass of 43 yards to Marcus Barnes. Jeannette led 42-0 at halftime.
