Radiant Hall turns 5

-

#ArtForEveryone: Are you an art lover? Thinking about starting a collection but not sure where to begin? Radiant Hall could be the place to start. The nonprofit organization provides discounted studio space in collaborative environments to 65 artists across three Pittsburgh locations: Lawrenceville, North Side and Homewood.

About 125 people stopped by Friday night to help celebrate its fifth anniversary at Jask Gallery and Framehouse in Lawrenceville. Patrons had the opportunity to meet artists working and living in their communities. Guests enjoyed the indoor/outdoor reception catered by The Vandal and Spirit, noshing on roasted lamb crostini, an autumnal salad and mulled wine.

“For five years, Radiant Hall has served an important role in Pittsburgh’s flourishing arts community. This event celebrates the work of those artists as well as encourages the public to support and buy local art,” said event co-host Hayley Haldeman. Radiant Hall is also bringing art to the people (and vice versa) by hosting open studios at its North Side and Homewood locations. Visitors can walk through the studios, meet the artists and see works in progress and available for sale. The events are free and open to the public. Information: www.radianthall.com.
