It’s a miracle
The holiday pop-up bar, this year called Miracle on Market, will debut on Friday in Market Square at The Original Oyster. Look for over-the-top holiday decor along with holiday-themed cocktails like the Bad Santa, a mulled wine and port cocktail. Drinks are served in custom glassware available for purchase, with 10 percent of sales going to Action Against Hunger.
The pop-up from Spencer Warren and Carrie Clayton (of the soon-to-open Mr. Roger’s Bar Downtown) is one of 50 “Miracle” holiday bars nationwide and beyond — there’s even one in Athens, Greece — so named for the holiday movie “Miracle on 34th Street.” The original launched in New York at Mace, an East Village cocktail bar, in 2014. It’s the second year for a Pittsburgh Miracle bar, with the one last year held on Liberty Avenue, Downtown.
