Oakland Restaurant Week features $6 lunches for 6 days

Oakland Restaurant Week will hold its annual winter edition from Monday through Feb. 3 with $6 lunch menus.

Diners who order one of the featured $6 lunches can enter a drawing to win free lunch for a month or other prizes from Oakland retail shops.

Participat­ing restaurant­s and their menu features include:

• Lotsa Stone Fired Pizza: Veggie, meat lovers or “Simply Cheese plus any 1 topping” signature pizzas.

• Top Shabu-Shabu & Lounge: Dish combo.

• Stack’d Oakland: Short Stack Burger with American cheese and fries, Buffalo chicken quesadilla, bacon cheeseburg­er quesadilla or veggie quesadilla.

• Prince of India: plate from the buffet.

• Original Milano Pizza: Half hoagie and can of soda.

• Noodles & Co.: Small bowls including penne rosa, pesto cavatappi, pasta fresca, mac & cheese, butter noodles, spaghetti and a side soup or salad, tomato bisque, Thai chicken soup or chicken noodle soup with French baguette.

• Hello Bistro: Monday: grilled fig jam and goat cheese grilled cheese with fries; all week: Italiano grilled cheese and fries.

• Thirsty Scholar: Monday: veggie wrap; all week: grilled or fried chicken salad, classic cheeseburg­er with fries, bacon cheeseburg­er with fries.

• Nellie’s Sandwiches: Any sandwich.

• Thai Hana: One Chicken yellow curry with rice.

Other restaurant­s that will participat­e but have not announced menus include Peter’s Pub, Sushi Fuku, Sorrento’s Pizza, Sciulli’s Pizza, The Garden Grille & Bar, Golden Palace Buffet, Fuel & Fuddle, Pie Express and Pamela’s.
