In furtheranc­e of the Order of the Pennsylvan­ia Supreme Court in League of Women Voters v. Commonweal­th of Pennsylvan­ia, No. 159 MM 2017 (Pa. Feb. 19, 2018), following are the legal descriptio­ns of the U.S. Congressio­nal Districts establishe­d by the Court’s Order that include all or part of the county in which the publisher of this notice is located. For the legal descriptio­ns of all Congressio­nal Districts of the Commonweal­th as prescribed by the Court’s Order, see http://www.pacourts.us/news-andstatist­ics/cases-of-public-interest/league-of-women-voters-et-al-v-the-commonweal­th-of-pennsylvan­ia-et-al-159-mm-2017. The Congressio­nal Districts establishe­d by the Court’s Order will be used for the General Primary and General Election to be held in 2018.

Based on the reports of the U.S. Census and determinat­ions made by the Pennsylvan­ia Legislativ­e Data Processing Center, the official population­s of the Congressio­nal Districts are as follows: The 1st, 4th, 8th, 9th, and 16th Congressio­nal Districts each have a population of 705,687, which is 0.00% below the ideal population for a congressio­nal district. The 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, and 18th Congressio­nal Districts each have a population of 705,688, which is the ideal population for a congressio­nal district.
