Northwest Bank promotes Seiffert to chief executive officer

Northwest Bank in Warren, Pa., promoted Ronald J. Seiffert to chief executive officer. Mr. Seiffert, who joined the bank as president and chief operating officer in November, succeeds William J. Wagner, who will continue at the bank as executive chairman until his retirement in the fourth quarter.

Denver-based Molson Coors Brewing Co. is weighing whether to expand into the sector with Canada poised to legalize the drug for recreational use this October. The brewer is said to have held talks with several Canadian-based marijuana companies to invest and collaborate in cannabis-infused beverages.
