The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland said Suzanne K. Mellon, president of Carlow University, was appointed to the board of directors of its Pittsburgh branch.

Henderson Brothers hired Amanda Keller as a business associate in commercial lines.
Liberty Insurance Agency of Pittsburgh said Jeff Dougherty joined as vice president, personal lines manager.
Law
Post & Schell, P.C. elected two associates from its Pittsburgh office as principals in its statewide workers’ compensation department. They are Evan D. Dalzell and Heather J. Zambelli. Both counsel and defend employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters throughout Pennsylvania and Ms. Zambelli also represents clients in West Virginia.
Tucker Arensberg, P.C. said Brian A. Pepicelli and Edward A. Wodarczyk joined the firm. Mr. Pepicelli is an associate in the litigation group and concentrates his practice on general civil and commercial litigation. Mr. Wodarczyk has over 35 years of experience as an employee benefits consultant and attorney for a broad range of clients in a variety of industries.
Natalie C. Metropulos joined Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, LLC as counsel in its litigation practice group. She will focus her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, commercial litigation and family law.
Burns White LLC said four partners from Clevelandbased Gallagher Sharp LLP have joined its firm. They are Kevin C. Alexandersen, Daniel J. Michalec, Colleen A. Mountcastle and Holly M. Olarczuk-Smith.

David Villiotti has started the CPA firm Good Steward Accounting, LLC which offers a wide array of services including audit, review, compilation of financial statements, monthly bookkeeping, QuickBooks services, budgeting, and tax preparation services for both business and individuals.
Awards and Honors
Herbert, Rowland & Grubic Inc. was honored at the ESOP Association’s Annual Awards for Communications Excellence ceremony in Washington, D.C. HRG received an award for employee ownership marketing. This award recognizes achievements in advertising the benefits of employee ownership to customers, the community, and the general public.
Professor JoAnn Avoli, Health Information Technology, The Community College of Allegheny County, received the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association Distinguished Member Award for 2018.
Seton Hill University presented its highest honor, The Elizabeth Ann Seton Medal, to Katherine Donahue Freyvogel. The designation of a contemporary woman whose life achievements parallel in some way that of Elizabeth Ann Seton, the founder of the Sisters of Charity, continues to emphasize the relevance of her life of nearly two centuries ago to the modern era.
The Controlled Release Society said Steven Little, professor, University of Pittsburgh, is the recipient of its 2018 Young Investigator award. The honor annually recognizes an individual, 40 years of age or younger, for outstanding contributions in the science of controlled release. Mr. Little is the William Kepler Whiteford Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at Pitt’s Swanson School of Engineering.
Washington Health System received The Harry R. Edelman III Quality of Life Award from Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. The award recognizes the extraordinary contributions in enhancing the quality of life of residents. Washington Health System has been a partner on initiatives to enhance the quality of medical services and chronic disease management at the Washington campus of Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. This has included a geriatric fellowship program for the provision of higher acuity patient services.
