James Harris of the Washington Wild Things went 2 for 4 with a double and scored three runs as the Experience­d team beat the Rookies, 8-3, in the Frontier League All-Star Game at CarShield Field in O’Fallon, Mo. Derrick Loveless of the Normal Cornbelter­s hit two home runs and had five RBIs and was named the most valuable player. The Wild Things’ Thomas Dorminy started for the Experience­d team and got the win.
