James Harris of the Washington Wild Things went 2 for 4 with a double and scored three runs as the Experienced team beat the Rookies, 8-3, in the Frontier League All-Star Game at CarShield Field in O’Fallon, Mo. Derrick Loveless of the Normal Cornbelters hit two home runs and had five RBIs and was named the most valuable player. The Wild Things’ Thomas Dorminy started for the Experienced team and got the win.
