Woman faces charges in 2017 robbery
A woman was arrested Thursday in connection with a robbery in which a Lincoln-Lemington resident was shot in the chest, Pittsburgh police said.
ZiareMauro, 20, faces chargesincluding aggravated assault, burglary, robbery,attempted criminal homicideand conspiracy.
Policesaid Ms. Mauro wasstaying with the victim March23, 2017, when two menentered the home in the 1300block of Paulson Avenue.One had a gun and demandedthat the victim “giveit up,” according to a police affidavit filed Thursday.
Thevictim, whose name isnot mentioned in court documents,tried to grab the gunbut was shot in the chest, according to the affidavit.
The victim’s relatives found a cell phone in the house that was believed to belong to Deon Reese, police said. When police searched the phone, they found a text conversation between Mr. Reese and a phone number police said was associated with Ms. Mauro’s sister, according to the affidavit.
Mr.Reese was arrested onMay 3, 2017. He faces chargesincluding attemptedcriminal homicide, aggravatedassault, robbery, burglary, firearms violations,and recklessly endangeringanother person. the Eastern District.
The nominations were applauded by both of the state’s U.S. senators. The U.S. Senate must confirm the nominations.

“Mr. Ranjan’s background in private practice and as a federal law clerk will serve him well on the bench,” said Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., who added that Judge Younge had distinguished himself in over two decades on the bench in Philadelphia.
Judge Younge has served on Common Pleas Court in Philadelphia since 1995 and was re-elected in 2005 and 2015.
Mr. Ranjan litigates commercial, energy and appellate matters.
