Wine, Women & Shoes

-

#FancyFeet: It was quite a party at Rivers Casino on the North Shore, for more than 325 guests as they funneled into the ballroom on Friday night to support the Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation. And really, is there any better way to give to a good cause than through a night of shopping, wining and dining and watching a fun fashion show produced by Dana Sellitti of SerenDipity Boutique? I think not.

Ladies (and gents!) rocked their most fabulous shoes in hopes of being picked by judges Cindy Engler, Annika Tenace and Sally Gillece. It was a parade of Valentinos, Manolos and Louboutins, oh my! But at the heart of a wild and wonderful event such as this is the incredible impact it can have in our community. “An event like this is so meaningful to keeping Pittsburgh a leader in emergency medicine. We are truly touched by the outpouring of support tonight,” said Beth Wolfe, executive director of the Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation. Added event co-chair and PEMF board member Laura Penrod Kronk, “The organization has done such great work in our city, and being able to amp up the fundraising efforts with the support of these amazing women I am cochairing with tonight is just extraordinary.” To learn more about PEMF, visit: www.pemf.net/.
