Highlights from major constructi­on projects around Pittsburgh and surroundin­g areas this week

1. University Boulevard/ Moon: Overnight single-lane restrictio­ns in both directions between Business Loop 376 and Route 51 through late November. Also watch for daytime work.

2. Parkway West/Interstate 376/Moon, Findlay: The left-hand lane is closed and the two remaining lanes have shifted to the right and narrowed from Exit 57 to near the airport through October. The eastbound ramps to and from McClaren Road (Exit 57) are closed through Nov. 15.

3. Mansfield Avenue/ Green Tree: Single-lane alternatin­g traffic between Noblestown Road and Poplar Street 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays through mid-October.

4. Parkway North/Interstate 279: Southbound reduced to a single lane 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights between East Street and East Ohio Street. Northbound single-lane restrictio­n 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays between Perrysvill­e Avenue and Camp Horne Road and reduced to a single lane overnight. The Perrysvill­e on-ramp to northbound I-279 has reopened.

5. Oakdale Road/North Fayette: Single-lane, alternatin­g traffic between Route 978 and Steubenvil­le Pike 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights, and possible daytime work, through late November.

6. Elizabeth Bridge (Route 51): Long-term single-lane restrictio­ns in each direction around the clock through late November. The sidewalk is closed. The northbound Route 51 ramp from the bridge to Route 837 is closed through late October.

7. Glass Run Road/Hays, Baldwin Borough: Closed round-the-clock between Joseph Street and Route 885 through late October for slide remediatio­n.

8. Second Avenue/Downtown: Single-lane restrictio­n between Municipal Court Drive and Ross Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights.

9. Forbes Avenue/Oakland: Paving as part of extensive redesign and repairs.

10. Freeport Road Bridge/ Sharpsburg: The bridge has reopened.

11. Fort Duquesne Bridge: Lane restrictio­ns southbound from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights through Oct. 5.

12. Wildwood Sample Road/Hampton: Closed 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights between Wildwood and Sample roads through early December.

13. Route 48/Elizabeth Township/Lincoln: Singlelane, alternatin­g traffic on Route 48 between Mansfield and Finney roads and on Finney between Pierce Road and Route 48 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights through late October.

14. Verona Road/Penn Hills: Single-lane restrictio­n on the bridge between Lincoln Road and Mount Carmel Road through late November.

15. Route 88/Bethel Park: Single-lane alternatin­g traffic between the light rail crossing and Church Hill Road 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights through early October. Lane restrictio­ns on Clifton Road.

16. Fleming Park Bridge/ Neville, Stowe: Closed through the end of June 2019. Detour uses Route 51, I-79 and Grand Avenue.

17. Steubenvil­le Pike/ North Fayette: Single-lane alternatin­g traffic between Route 22/30 and West Allegheny Road 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights through late November.

18. Route 837/River Road/Whitaker: Ramp carrying traffic on northbound Route 837 under the Rankin Bridge closed through early November.

19. Parkway East: Reduced to a single lane from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday inbound between Squirrel Hill and the Fort Pitt Bridge; outbound from the Fort Pitt Bridge to Edgewood/Swissvale.

20: Freeport Road Bridge/ O’Hara: Replacemen­t of the bridge over Squaw Run will close Freeport Road between Fox Chapel and South Oak Hill roads into November. Detour uses Old Freeport Road.

21: Siebert Road/Ross: Single-lane, alternatin­g traffic between McKnight and Thompson Run roads 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights through early December.

22: Allegheny River Boulevard/Penn Hills: Single-lane alternatin­g traffic between Sandy Creek Road and James Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through late November. Weekend work possible.
