#FootballFashion: The annual Rock Steelers’ Style: A Signature Night blew the roof off the North Shore’s Stage AE Friday night. The event began with a tented reception featuring lots of libations, lively music by DJ Petey C and food stations, all to benefit the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and Cancer Caring Center. Greta and Art Rooney II and Kiya and Mike Tomlin co-chaired the highenergy party, which also featured a silent auction filled with signed memorabilia. Mrs. Rooney wore a gown designed by Mrs. Tomlin, complete with her name stitched at the bottom. “It is a signature night,” said Mrs. Rooney, smiling. Linebacker Vince Williams was this year’s honorary captain. DJs Selecta and Big Phill rocked the runway as players and their families modeled pieces from Mrs. Tomlin’s Game Day Collection, Fashions by Outerstuff, Surmesur, MODA Pittsburgh and Tuxedo Junction. Among the big names were Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Cam Heyward. Guests were also treated to a performance by Gabby Barrett, “American Idol” finalist and Munhall native. There was a special tribute to Dr. Stanley Marks and his former patient, Steelers running back James Conner, and race car driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and UPMC concussion program’s Dr. Micky Collins. Ryan Shazier received an enthusiastic standing ovation when he walked out on the runway.

#FanFun: Standouts in the crowd included Dana and Franco Harris, TiAnda and Mel Blount, Cancer Caring executive director Rebecca Whitlinger (wearing an outfit from Mrs. Tomlin’s collection) and UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program director Kraig Smith, creative director Demeatria Boccella and daughters Sierra and Adia, Cindy and Rich Engler, Mary Ann Miller with Terry Mohr and Blase Barrett, Gabby’s father. —
