Point Park University added Maura Minteer and Chris W. Brussalis to its board of trustees. They are both serving three-year terms. Ms. Minteer is the director of events at the Heinz History Center. Mr. Brussalis is president and CEO of The Hill Group Inc.

Tetra Tech Inc. promoted Scott Nesbit to Pittsburgh operations manager.

Dr. Jonathan Lee was named director of surgery and system-wide director of surgical oncology serving in a dual role for Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute and the AHN Surgery Institute.

Topanga Partners hired David Gormley as its managing partner.

Karla L. Johnson as partner. She represents major financial institutions in class actions and other litigation involving mortgage lending and servicing, discriminatory lending allegations, exposure to Ponzi scheme operations, auto lending issues, securities lending programs and investment losses. Alexis Sherman was hired as a paralegal at Kraemer, Manes & Associates.

The Frick Pittsburgh announced the election of Stephen Casey, Leon E. Haynes III and Britton P. Wean to its board of trustees. Mr. Casey is founder of Stephen Casey Architects (SCA). Mr. Haynes is executive director of Hosanna House Inc. Ms. Wean is stewardship officer in the alumni and development office of Shady Side Academy.

Sheetz, a family-owned and operated convenience store chain, named Travis Sheetz president and chief operating officer.

The following individuals and organizations received 2018 National Philanthropy Day Awards from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Western Pennsylvania Chapter: Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser: Nancy Zappala; Outstanding Philanthropists: Benjamin and Jo Statler; Outstanding Philanthropic Organization: Women of Southwestern PA; Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy: Mikayla Davic; Outstanding Fundraising Executive: Jodi Weisfield; and Special Lifetime Achievement Award: Cecile Springer. Beyond Spots & Dots advertising agency earned two Gold MarCom Awards for the design of a brochure for a medical device company in the Print Media-Print Creativity and Print Media-Marketing categories. MarCom Awards is an international creative competition, sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
