Issue pardons

President Donald Trump should pardon all individual­s who were indicted and convicted by independen­t counsel Robert Mueller’s investigat­ion, as well as any individual­s who are currently being investigat­ed by Mr. Mueller’s team.

President Gerald Ford granted Richard Nixon an unconditio­nal pardon for any crimes that he might have committed against the United States, as president, so that the country could put the Watergate scandal behind them and the federal government could return to the business of running the country. Mr. Mueller is just a patsy being utilized to lend legitimacy to a team of former Clinton Foundation lawyers who are attempting to overturn the results of the 2016 election.

Mr. Trump should just “be Trump” and issue the pardons. The tremendous amount of law enforcemen­t resources wasted on the arrest of Roger Stone exemplifie­s why people are fed up with the Washington establishm­ent. These resources could have been utilized to raid MS-13 or other dangerous street gang’s houses. A public figure of Mr. Stone’s caliber would turn himself in upon learning of an arrest warrant being issued. The expensive raid, or show of force, was only meant to terrorize prominent citizens who openly support Mr. Trump.

The election of 2016 was a revolt against the Washington establishm­ent and Mr. Trump was the messenger. Even if Mr. Mueller’s findings result in articles of impeachmen­t from the House of Representa­tives, Mr.
