Fake moral outrage

-

I am sick and tired of 99% of the media painting virtually anything President Donald Trump says as racist. Mr. Trump’s latest tweets about Baltimore and its failed congressional representation have zero to do with race, just as his criticism for the “squad of four” had nothing to do with race.

I wonder how many Post- Gazette readers have been to Baltimore lately. The city is simply a disaster zone. It has nothing to do with the color of the people who live there. Baltimore’s congressional representatives, regardless of their race, should give virtually all of their attention to their own failing backyards, rather than continue their perpetual witch hunts against Mr. Trump.

Mr. Trump has been vilified since before he took office. He is routinely compared to Adolf Hitler, and many of the insults directed at him by the left are not even printable in a family newspaper.

I, along with countless others, love and support our country and our president, who is trying to bring some muchneeded sanity back into America. There are tens of millions of us who still stand for liberty, justice and the people’s Godgiven right to pursue happiness without constant government interference.

We are all lucky to live in the greatest country this world has ever known, and many of us, including our duly elected leader, are fed up with the constant “hate America” speech and fake moral outrage that permeates almost all of the media nowadays. KEN DASH Mars
