The Butler County Beer Circuit, a selfguided tour of eight local brewery taprooms, is growing to 10 stops, with the addition of Burgh’ers Brewing in Zelienople and, by the end of August, Dented Keg Brewing in Adams.

All 10 stops as well as the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau and its brochure racks around the county offer Passport to Hoppiness cards. Visitors who get a pint or a flight and then their card stamped at each stop on the circuit get a mug from the bureau at 310 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

The original stops are Butler Brew Works, Cellar Works, Missing Links, North Country, Reclamation, Recon, ShuBrew and Stick City.

They cooked up a collaborative beer, Butler County Barley Wine 2019, that will debut from 4 to 11 p. m. Friday at Cellar Works in Sarver. A limited number of bottles will be given to travelers who have.

There will be a release party for the Butler County Barley Wine 2019 at Cellar Works Brewing Company, Friday. Customers can also purchase glasses after that at the other seven original breweries.

The Breweries in PA website worked with 20 veteran- owned/ operated breweries across the state and one malt house earlier this year on “Hurry Up and Wait,” a collaborative double India pale ale. They sold it at all the breweries ( one not yet open poured it at two others) over Memorial Day weekend to raise money for the Pennsylvania Veterans Foundation. Last week, Breweries in PA told us the total raised and directly donated to that nonprofit group: $ 19,831.34. •
